Eligibility & Requirments
Eligibility
- Any Utah manufacturing or distribution company is eligible to apply for the awards. Your company does not have to be a Utah Manufacturers Association (UMA) member or headquartered in the state of Utah. Self-nominations are strongly encouraged. If you have any questions about company eligibility, please contact Megan Ware at jenny@manufacturingutah.com.
- The award winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Banquet on November 12th, 2022. Representatives from all nominated companies, nominators, and guests will be invited to attend the formal event. Tickets are $350 per couple; tables of 10 are $1,500. Early registration is recommended.
- Judges and sponsors will use information in the application submitted for press releases about the nominees and winners. All financial information submitted in your application will be kept private and confidential.
- There is no entry fee required to participate in any of the awards.
- All submissions must be submitted electronically through the UMA website. Please contact the awards coordinator with submission questions or concerns by email at megan@manufacturingutah.com.
Required Application Information
- All award applications must include detailed information and will be judged for the categories listed below. All awards will be based on the details provided in the application form. To submit your application form, please assemble your responses to each question in a word document and then convert it into a PDF. Upload using the submission information provided at the bottom of this page. Please upload any additional information in a PDF or image file type as indicated. Additional upload fields for financial data and graphics are required for the Utah Manufacturers Association Annual Awards Banquet ceremony design elements. Any photos you would like considered as part of your application should be included within your application PDF. Please do not exceed 15 pages.
- IMPORTANT: The maximum file size for uploading documents or images is 2 megabytes per file. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF.

- Judges rank criteria with relevance to each applicant. Judges are in no way influenced by the level of membership or investment status with the association.
