This course trains workers to safely identify, enter, and work in confined spaces. Topics include hazard recognition, atmospheric testing, ventilation, entry permits, communication, and emergency response. Special emphasis is placed on OSHA’s confined space standards to ensure participants understand the roles of entrants, attendants, and supervisors. By completing this training, employees will be better prepared to work safely in hazardous or restricted spaces.
