UMA Online Safety Training – Electrical Safety

This training covers OSHA requirements for CFR section 1910, Subpart S, Electrical Standards (29 CFR 1910.301 – 1910.399). Instruction is designed to familiarize employees of the basic OSHA requirements of electrical safety.
Course topics include:
- Hazards associated with electrical installations and equipment
- Electrical shock, Arc-Flash & Arc-Blast
- Lock out/tagout
- Cord and plug connected and fixed equipment
- Importance of grounding systems and the use of ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI)
- Electrical safety-related work practices
- Electrical hazard recognition and hazard abatement
