This course covers the interaction process between leaders and followers, through which leaders can exert their influence on followers to achieve organizational safety goals. This course will introduce students to the OSHA 5-Star model of Safety Leadership which includes: Supervision: overseeing work activities to make sure employees are safe. Training: conducting safety education and training. Accountability: ensuring compliance with company safety policies and rules. Resources: providing tools, equipment, and materials so employees can work safely. Support: creating a supportive psychosocial work environment - schedules, workloads, recognition - So employees do not work under undue stress.
