New event series brings manufacturing resources directly to communities across Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — The Utah Manufacturers Association (UMA) is pleased to announce in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and 47G to launch a roadshow event series, beginning in July in Cedar City. The roadshow will replace UMA’s traditional Manufacturing Conference, bringing resources, insights, and connections directly to manufacturers at multiple stops across the state each month.

In addition to the roadshow launch, UMA announced that its Annual Safety Awards will transition into the Annual Awards Gala happening in November. The move consolidates safety recognition into UMA’s flagship statewide gathering, giving safety excellence a larger stage alongside the organization’s broader industry awards. Manufacturers who have prioritized workplace safety will now be celebrated as part of the same signature event that honors the state’s top achievements in manufacturing.

“We’re proud to expand our partnership with SBA and 47G to bring these resources closer to manufacturers throughout Utah,” said Johnny Ferry, President/CEO, UMA. “And by bringing safety recognition into our Annual Awards Gala, we’re able to celebrate the manufacturers who are raising the bar on safety alongside the full breadth of achievement across our industry, at the event where the entire manufacturing community comes together.”

UMA extends its appreciation to SBA and 47G for their continued partnership in expanding access to these vital resources for manufacturers throughout Utah.

About the Utah Manufacturers Association Since 1905, the Utah Manufacturers Association has been the leading voice for Utah’s manufacturing community, representing manufacturers and service providers of all sizes across the state.
