Invest in your top talent and grow your business and company culture

Workforce development is one of the top issues facing Utah manufacturers. It is projected that Up to 2 million manufacturing jobs will be unfilled by 2030. Companies are facing high-turnover rates and record low numbers of people pursuing careers in the trades.

Manufacturers Struggle With:

Attracting talent

developing growth programs

Offering benefits

Adapting employees to new technology

Retaining talent

Retiring employees

A culture of learning and development is a high-demand of workers. According to a 2019 LinkedIn study, 94% of employees said they would stay with their employer if it invested in their career development. However, developing L&D programs can be costly for the company. Many do not have the time and resources to develop in-house training. UMA assists partners with key programs to fill in skills gaps, train and retain their top talent, and attract new workers. Our workforce development programs include all aspects of the manufacturing company from floor workers to supervisors to Human Resources to the executive team.
