Having a good pre-shift warm-up routine is designed to transition employees from rest to work. It increases blood flow to the muscles used for the specific work activities the employee will be engaging in. There are many different ways to do a warm-up and stretching program with your employees. The goal is to make sure to warm up the entire body and not rush. However, these warm-ups should not last long either!
